It was a dreary rainy Saturday morning so it felt like a great time to unwrap and play with the Color Me Happy Project Bundle. This stamp set and card project kit were designed for use with the new Stampin’ Blends. I posted the Thank You card on my Facebook page Saturday a.m. and said I would make the other three designs as demonstrated in the project kit flyer, but I only made it through one more following Stampin’ Up! guidelines. It’s just too hard not to play and add a personal style or tweak to the cards, just as I do with Paper Pumpkin each month.

I really love the Stampin’ Blends but feel I have to practice a bit more with shading. They are so easy to work with though, it was very relaxing!  Visit my Stampin’ Up! demonstrator website (Click Here) to see all the Stampin’ Blend color options or watch the Stampin’ Up! video on YouTube to learn more about the blending markers and the Color Me Happy project kit. Click here for YouTube.

This is a picture of the cards as designed. I didn’t change too much. I wanted a colorful “Oh Hello” instead of black and I added an extra flower to the “So Happy For You” card. I will have them available to practice as one of the card choices for November 13 stamp night.  (Please let me know if you are planning to attend.)

I will be busy working on swaps for On Stage in Salt Lake City but will post again before leaving and then again from Salt Lake City.  I am so excited to see the new products for 2018!
