Do more of what makes you happy! Do you have a hobby (along with stamping of course!) or activity that brings you joy or relieves stress?
One of my favorite Facebook pages is Project Happiness. This was a recent post and picture:
“Each of us has a canvas to paint. It’s up to us to make it colorful and vibrant! Take some time today and tend to your soul. Do some things that make you happy – visit an animal shelter, make a friend date, treat yourself to a massage. Paint yourself a colorful canvas today!”
One of my favorite things to do (besides stamping, I have a long list!) is to read and share motivational quotes and information. I loved to teach classes and help others reflect on these types of things. So recently I decided that if I saw a Stampin’Up! stamp set that had a sentiment that spoke to me, even if I didn’t like the other images, I was going to focus on sentiments that were aligned with my interest in personal growth and well-being. It really changed the way I am looking at stamps in the Stampin’Up! catalogs.
I have shared a card below with a new sentiment from the Tasteful Textures stamp set I recently ordered, I love it and used it along with the Tropical Chic stamp set. I case’d (“copy and share everything”) the background from a card on Pinterest. I think the palm layout in the background is so soothing.
Before I post the items used for the card, don’t forget that Weds. July 31 is the last day of Bonus Days. For every $50 you order, you will get a $5 coupon to use in August. Save the email with the coupon codes from Stampin’Up! You will need those when you order in August. I shared some ideas of things to purchase in my last post, scroll on my website to the last post if you missed it. (Oh, sorry if the emoticons looked goofy in your email, they did in mine!)
So whatever else you have to do today, take a few minutes for you. Do something that makes you happy. The more you fill your cup, the more you have to offer to others.
Let me know if you have any questions regarding Bonus Days or other items I might be able to help you with.
