Sunny and Hot Days Ahead

With sunny and hot days ahead, the Sunny Days Stamp Set is perfect! I think lemonade is going to be a welcome refreshment for the next few days here in Illinois.

I used Memento black ink and the Stampin’ Up watercolor pencils for my coloring. I love to smooth out the pencil lines with Stampin’ Up! Blender Pens. I used Old Olive ink for the sentiment and grass. The background cardstock is Pineapple Punch, one of the 2018-2020 InColors.

For those of you that don’t follow my Stampin’ Up! Facebook page, I explained that I took a break from the 30 Day Card Challenge I set for myself, and really, from stamping all together. I have been going through a very stressful time and decided I was only making things worse by adding more to my to do list. I am spending time on my emotional and physical health, so I appreciate the understanding and “likes” on my Facebook page as I posted other things rather than cards I had stamped. I am focusing on what’s next for me in many areas of my life. It’s a challenging time but also one that I know will bring about positive results. So Sunny Days is a great Stamp Set to get back to stamping with! I will continue to stamp but you may see some other products used with my Stampin’ Up! products. I am excited about the times ahead. I hope you will continue to join me on this journey.

Quick note – as of this evening as I write this, the new Stampin’ Blends markers are available today. I just worked on my order and I am sure many demonstrators are.  Get an order in right away if you are anxious to try some of the new colors. I know Stampin’ Up! was waiting to allow ordering until they felt they could prevent a back order situation, but they are highly anticipated so we’ll see how long they are in stock.  I am sure they will continue to keep inventory coming in but I wanted to give you a heads up.

There’s so much going on!

There’s so much going on! Where? When? Right now in the world of Stampin’ Up!  I have been doing so much posting on Facebook and Instagram since attending OnStage the first weekend of April, I’ve neglected my blog. We’ve got new In Colors, a complete Color Revamp, new designs for ink pads and stamp branding, special bundle pre-order options for all of you in May and of course a ton of new products coming to you in June with the release of the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. Those of you who have ordered from me this past year will be receiving your new catalog some time this month.

Let’s start with the Color Revamp.  The new colors are so pretty but I am thrilled that we have some returning colors. I was so disappointed when Mossy Meadow was discontinued a couple of years ago as an In Color, Guess What – It’s Back! There are a lot of new greens, they are going to be fun to play with and shade trees and leaves. Flirty Flamingo is being carried over as one the Brights color group and lots of others. The new In Colors are bright and sassy, love them! It will be easier to see in the catalog but here is a sneak peek on the color changes.

The stamp case is being changed this year too. I am still getting used to opening and using them, they open like a compact makeup case. I’ve been coming up with some helpful hints too, I’ll share as you start to receive them.  They are stackable now but you can still use them in whatever stamp pad storage system you are using. All of the new colors will be in the new cases and then as existing colors.

There is so much else to talk about, but for tonight I’ll end with the Limited Time Bundles: Share What You Love. It’s a great opportunity to get some of the new stamps in a bundle with accessories.  I ordered the largest bundle, I wanted it all!

Check out this video by Brandy from the Home Office on all the items included in the bundles. At the end of May it will not be sold as a bundle.  Click here to watch the You Tube video.

Don’t forget that retiring items and items from the Occasions Catalog won’t be available after May 31. Be sure to order items that have been on your wish list soon, before they are gone. Check out my demonstrator site to see the retiring items. Click here and then once you get to the full product list, you will see the retiring items links.

Be sure to follow me on Facebook and Instagram for daily card photos and updates.
