Around the Corner Stamp Set is a new set in this year’s Annual Catalog. It can be found on page 40 of the catalog and is perfect for using the new Stamparatus for perfect stamp placement. I used it to place the corner sentiment and position the little party hats. There are a couple of corner sentiments and designs in this set, it’s really a cute stamp set! I used Stamparatus to position Happy Birthday from Happy Birthday Gorgeous Stamp Set.
I wanted to use the new Broadway Bound Specialty Designer Series Paper. I thought the black, white and gold foil would really stand out with the bright red of new Poppy Parade Classic Stamp Pad. But as you can see it is very juicy. When I used the Stamparatus a second time to create a better Hapoy Birthday image there was too much ink on the Y in Birthday! So, as I mentioned yesterday, not all projects turn out perfectly! Have fun anyway. Regardless, I love using the Stamparatus for positioning stamps. (I should do a Facebook Live to show you how it works!)
I also realized when I saw the post in email, for those of you who get the email update when I add a new post, that the email includes all the posts since the last one. That is why you saw two. So I guess I will leave the post on until I can figure out a better way. Thanks for opening and reading the post, I appreciate your interest in stamping!

Delightfully Detailed note cards are a new addition to the 2018-2019 Annual Catalog. These printed cards are ready to add a stamp or sentiment and send. The note card set includes 20 note cards that have a watercolor background in Blackberry Bliss or Mint Macaron on Very Vanilla.
As you can see, I simply added a flower stamp and two sentiments using Black Memento ink to create a beautiful note to send.
As I mentioned the other day, I am attempting another 30 day challenge with posts on Facebook, Instagram and this blog. I will be adding a newsletter too so I don’t want to overwhelm you with card posts. I will be experimenting with format change and may just send an email that reminds you that new content has been added or when I write the newsletter I will provide a link to see the daily card posts. I hope you will remember to check in and see the posts!

Rooted in Nature Stamp Set was one of the sets that we worked with at the Stampin’Up! OnStage conference in April It was a set that demonstrators were able to pre-order so I have been working with and seeing ideas using this set longer. But it just might be my favorite set, or at least in my top 5, in the new catalog. I love trees and nature and some of the sentiments in the set are simple but beautiful.
This card was inspired by a post by fellow demonstrator, Tania Carstein. I loved her use of new Balmy Blue for the cardstock background. She used more blue for the leaves and stamped on her layer on top of the blue, I changed it up a bit and used Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper on top of the Balmy Blue. I also used more Soft Suede and fussy cut my tree root. This card also features one of the shiny leaf trinkets from the Leaves Trinkets on page 198 of the catalog. If you look closely you will see that the leaf in Soft Suede has an embossed pattern as well as a framelit to then cut the leaf. There are a few Framelits in the new catalog that have this feature. I love it!
I loved Tania’s idea and use of this stamp set. That’s the fun of seeing other ideas, changing it and making it your own!
Tomorrow’s card, a very simple stamp on a new notecard in the 2018 – 2019 Annual Catalog.

Last chance products will be gone soon! Don’t forget that at the end of May you won’t be able to order the retiring items in the 2017-2018 catalog. Yes, there are some great new items to order and enjoy, but I have a ton of favorites from last year and I am glad I have ordered while available. Some items are on sale too, so it’s a great opportunity to shop!
I used new colors (Pineapple Punch, Soft Sea Foam, Mango Melody) along with returning color Mossy Meadow and favorites Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive to create this card using a sentiment from retiring Birthday Blossoms and the designs from Paisleys and Posies stamp set and coordinating Paisleys Framelits. I created a stamped only version which was posted on Instagram.
I spent some time last week coordinating all the new colors and ink pads. I bought another paper holder but I could use another! I have several colors doubled up. I also included a picture of the new colors. They are so much prettier when you actually see and touch them!
I heard some of your received your 2018-2019 Annual Catalog! How exciting, don’t you love all the new Stampin’ Blends. We weren’t able to pre-order those, so I’ll be placing another order early June! I think I have enough of the new stamps that I want for now. Well, or more correctly, I have to start using some of them before I buy more!! 😛

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, I Hope Your Day Is Magical filled with fun, family and a little bit of good luck!
I can’t believe how fast the days are flying by, March is half way over and this is the final month of Sale-a-bration! 3 months have flown by! A mentor started a 365 day challenge today, I can’t imagine! But maybe if I did one too, I would post a couple times a week again (wink)! We’ll see!
The first weekend of April I travel to Milwaukee for OnStage to see the new Annual Catalog and New products. So there will be lots to share in the next couple of months!
But let’s not get ahead of ourselves and get back to Sale-a-bration…if you follow me on Facebook you know that the 15th was the third addition of products to choose as free items. Last month Stampin’Up! added the Eclectic Expressions, the gorgeous Springtime Foil and Blossoming Basket Bundle. This week SU added a wonderful selection of items from our Occasions Catalog and more! Awesome items were added like the Color Me Happy Project Kit, the Scattered Sequins Dynamic embossing folder (WOW on that one!!), cardstock packs, the new Myths and Magic Glimmer Paper, even a couple of Stampin’ Write markers!
The picture shows the new items but visit my Demonstrator Site to see better images and place your order.
For those in Illinois, have a safe weekend if the weather ends up a wintery mix as predicted for Saturday. I am looking forward to working on some Easter cards!

Happy New Year! I am grateful for your support and encouragement – whether it was liking a post on Facebook or Instagram, responding to a post with a comment or attending a Stamp Night during 2017. I wish each of you and your families a very Happy New Year and a year full of creativity and fun!
Isn’t this an adorable card?! I saw the idea on our demonstrator Facebook page by fellow demonstrator, Nadine Schweda. She used a pretty light blue for the 2018 and a lighter cardstock background so I thought I would try it with Navy numbers. The pandas are one of the Sale-a-bration stamp sets which you can order FREE with a $50 order from the new Occasions or the Annual catalog beginning on January 3rd.
So, make a 2018 goal to spend more time creating – whether it is stamping, memory keeping/scrapbooking or coloring (with our great watercolor pencils or our new Stampin’ Blends markers). I’d love to have you join us for a Stamp Night. I’ve only heard back from one person so far – whether to meet Jan 16 or Jan 30, so please let me know what will work for you.
Again, Happy New Year!
