Are you ready for Christmas? I know it is still early, we were lucky to have a week after Thanksgiving but I am feeling a tad behind. Most of my decorations are up but I haven’t started Christmas cards yet and on Day 3 of Advent, my Advent calendar is just half done.
So if you are like me and need to get started on cards, I am thinking about a stamp night on Monday, Dec 10 from 6 – 9 p.m I have events every night this week so I might only get a couple of cards designed and prepped to choose from. I have another order coming from the Holiday Catalog this week so I might be motivated to get some done. Stamp night might just be an open stamp, make cards using my stamps and cardstock.
Pricing will be 6 for $15 or free with a $30 order. So come and play with some stamps and decide what you might need to finish your cards. We might be able to sneak in more more open stamp night but it would have to be the following week just to stamp more of what you have designed.
Let me know if you would be interested and I will confirm later in the week. Of course you will get to sneak peek the Occasions Catalog and items I have on hand. Catalogs are shipping soon directly from Stampin’Up! to you if you have ordered from me.
I saw this cute post on Facebook

I love our stamp nights! What a great group for Stamp Night this month. I love watching the enthusiasm of creating beautiful cards and projects. Others have warned that it can become overwhelming to allow stampers to make changes using the rest of my stamps and Designer Series Papers but I love when those attending change up the card idea I present to make it their own! That is why stamping is so much fun – making a special card to send to those who mean something to you.
For those who haven’t attending a Stamp Night with me, I make about 6 or 7 cards and/or a project to choose from. Similar to a card buffet. The stampers can choose which cards to make – there is a price for 4 or more, you can make one of each or two of one, etc., any combination. If you have a special occasion to make a card for, I can help with that too.
This was one of the choices tonight. I saw this design on Pinterest but last Stamp Night everyone mentioned they would like to have a Sympathy card, so I modified it with a Sympathy sentiment.
Products used to create this card are listed below:
Our next Stamp Night is November 13. On Monday, Dec 4, we will have a longer daytime event to work on Christmas Cards (or other cards you might need if we plan in advance). I’d love to have you join the fun!

Wednesday – What’s Up?! A lot, that’s what! September is zooming by, I can’t believe there is only a week left to the month and then we are really in the holiday season whether it is just enjoying Fall, getting spooky for Halloween, decorating with mums and pumpkins, taking at least one day (hopefully you are doing daily, it does wonders for the soul!) to be thankful for the gifts and graces we have received throughout the year and then remembering the gift of Jesus in our world and sharing that love and light with others! I love each and every part of this time of year but want to savor each day and want to remember not to rush through it.
Monday Night Stamp Night
Monday night I will host another stamp night, 6 – 9 p.m. (That is the time frame if you need that long, but if you don’t, you can leave when finished. We will stop on time!). Last month was so much fun and for September I will follow a similar format – 4 cards for $10 but about 6 choices, one a project, to choose from. If you want to make all 6, $12. PLEASE RSVP to [email protected] and let me know you are coming so I can make sure to have enough supplies. Please bring your adhesive and snips (i.e. scissors).
Have you seen the Eclipse Card?
I was so curious about the Eclipse card samples I have seen on demonstrator pages and Pinterest. So, I decided to try it. Watch my video on my Facebook Page to see the process. As I mentioned there, I don’t have the Large Letter Stamps and Framelits in the annual catalog so I decided to try it with the Large Number Stamps and Framelits, just to see if I like the technique. I LOVE IT! And I will be ordering the large letters! So we might make this as one of the card techniques in October.
